This app was developed to assist firefighters in conducting fire hydrant tests in the field. It was designed and tested by a Fire Protection Engineer with 25 years of fire service experience. This app will calculate flow (gpm) from pitot pressures or the pitotless nozzle and a HoseMonster (see www.hosemonster.com).
After you input static and residual pressure from an upstream hydrant, it will calculate the flow at 20psi to give you the hydrant rating and color based on NFPA 291.
